Artist Statement

Sources of my inspiration are nature,landscapes,urban architecture and foreign countries and their people. By engaging with these topics, I create compositions on canvas,wood and metals. Using acrylic paints,pigments and varnishes, which I combine with materials she finds in nature,such as barks,straw or wood and home-dyed papers to make collages, I create haptic structures on the support media. This enables viewers to use their sense of touch engaging with the exhibited canvas, which is my intention. Every day is a good day when I am in my atelier and be able to work on my canvases, always discovering new possibilities to create new combinations.
For me being in my working room and feeling a special flow when I am painting, is like a meditation.
