What’s your background?

I am an established artist who has always loved to integrate current topics in the created works of art. After studying art and studying abroad, I worked for 7 years with the Niki de St. Phalle Foundation throughout Europe. I have been featured in group and solo shows at museums, galleries and cultural Centers in Europe, Asia and the US, including Zhou Brothers Foundation Chicago, Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art in Las Vegas and solo shows at the International Museum of Contemporary Art ITALIA ARTE in Turin and at Artifact Gallery in New York. I take regularly part in major art fairs such as Art San Diego, Art Expo in New York and Spectrum Red Dot in Miami. My artworks will be exhibited in march 2023 at Tokyo Tower Art Fair 2023.

What does it mean to you to win the Collectors Art Prize?

I am very happy to have won the award and thank the team for choosing me. It makes me proud and very happy to present my artworks in the Contemporary Art Collectors Magazine.

What do you think is the role of art in the world today?

Art today should make people aware of new perspectives and solutions. My works are the instrument with which I manage to break through conventional perceptions. With a regular rhythm of related shapes, linear compositions appear which then form compositions. Those watching my art works have the possibility of going out on a discovery trip and thus decoding the concealed symbols and geometric signs in their own manner.

What would it be if you could change one thing about the art world?

I want the art world to be accessible to everyone around the world. Because everyone has a right to personal development and access to exhibitions, as well as cultural assets.

What are your most significant professional achievements?

My personal greatest successes are the shining eyes of the people who marvel at my works of art with joy. It's people's enjoyment of art makes me happy and not my success in exhibitions or sales. Of course, the pinnacle of any artist is finding an appreciative collector. Luckily, I've had this experience.

What do you wish to tell viewers about your work that might not come out explicitly? What do you hope to inspire with your artwork?

Awakening people's attention to their environment and thus showing other perspectives of their point of view. Those watching my art works have the possibility of going out on a discovery trip and thus decoding the concealed symbols and geometric signs in their own manner. Forms and signs become a language of their own and are often composed of hieroglyphs and sign elements from past cultures.

What advice would you give to the upcoming generation of artists?

Above all, believe in yourself, be open to new ideas, learn in order to be able to develop further. Always create something positive with joy and good cheer and be open in your mind.

In what direction would you like to see your career go in the next five years?

In five years I will already be retired. Of course I will continue to be creative after I retire because it's the only thing I really enjoy. As long as I live and my body allows it, I will continue to create artworks in various mediums such as paintings, sculptures, drawings and digital art.
