Marcelle Mansour
Biography
Marcelle Mansour is an international multi-award winning Australian multidisciplinary Visual Artist. An academic painter, bilingual writer, poet, journalist contributor and Peace Ambassador. She received two Masters of Fine Arts and Studio Arts from the University of Sydney and previously a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Egypt. She has exhibited internationally in Biennales and major exhibitions in New York, Miami, Paris, Venice, Florence, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Athens and Sydney. Her work featured in art magazines including Contemporary Celebrity Masters in Florence and Modern Art Masters in Complex de Louvre.
Her art spans from representational art to abstract, digital and light art in a variety of mediums. Her figurative digital painting is dominated by beauty and thoughts that explores the world of knowledge and wisdom of human psychology and perception. She reflects on challenges affecting our globe with the purpose of finding peace toward advancing humanity and reshaping reality.
Through Magical Realism, Marcelle Mansour’s paintings reflect on reconfiguration of experiences and memories rooted in human personal culture, heritage and identity; she expresses human emotions of longing for peace as an essential part of humanity. Her work is a manifestation of beauty with illuminating colors and communicating her mind’s thoughts which speak to the viewers worldwide towards peace building. Her paintings reflect her true north and her Australian-Palestinian roots that capture her heritage and serve as a Universal Western-Eastern woman.
