Artist Statement

My paintings always reveal my personality whatever I happen to paint. If I paint landscapes there's a quality about them that tells you I'm experiencing something or I'm in the moment. I don't like to get too involved with subject matter or subjects bigger than myself or being descriptive or didactic. I would consider myself a modernist who regards the elements of art as unchanging.
