Steffi Rodigas
Biography
After a life in various professions and raising three children, Steffi Rodigas broke with all conventions and left her secure job. Since then, she has been creatively expressing her feelings, thoughts and ideas through art and music and has been working as a freelance artist since 2018.
In her artistic works you can feel and see her deep connection to nature, animals and the love for detail.
She works with acrylic, oil and watercolor paints. Her specially developed art form "ART in ART", combines realistic painting with abstraction. Hundreds of small artworks (acrylic on paper) united to form a whole.
With her passion for three-dimensionality, she has created numerous sculptures from building insulation material.
It is particularly important to the artist to articulate her emotions and opinions on world events such as climate change, pollution of the oceans, animal welfare.
In Germany, she has had 7 solo exhibitions and numerous collective exhibitions. Steffi Rodigas' work has been shown internationally in Italy, Great Britain, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Argentina, Turkey, Japan and USA.
Steffi Rodigas is a five-time award winner and has received several recognitions. Her works are represented in various books and magazines as well as in private and public collections worldwide.
