Biography

Suzan received her MFA from Plymouth University, UK. She attended The San Francisco Art Institute and earned her BA from The Evergreen State College. In 2020-2021 during Covid Suzan studied Philosophy through European Graduate School.
 
Suzan has attended Artist residencies in Berlin, NYC, Brooklyn, Italy and
Marfa, Texas, along with two extended Facilitated Studio Practices at Anderson Ranch.
 
Her Awards include 2022 1st Prize, V International Contemporary Art Argentina Biennially,  2021 ATIM Award, 2021 Power of Creativity Art Prize, 2020 Artist of the Future Award, 2011 Artour-O Best in Show, Firenze, Italy.
 
Notable shows include the 2022 V International Contemporary Art Argentine Biennially, Dublin Biennials in 2012, 2014 and the Southern Nevada Museum of Art. Her works are in private collections in Australia, Bahamas, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Ireland, and the USA.
 
In Fantasy Botanicals Susan weaves her artistic inquiry into narratives that seek to locate and express a thread of human experience through arranging  imagination and memory. Suzan’s admiration of nature drives her praxis.
