Hadas Porges

Biography

My name is Hadas Porges. I am a 22-year-old artist who lives in Israel. I have been painting since I can remember myself, and Art has always been a significant part of my life.

‏Growing up, I always had a canvas with a painting full of colours waiting to be finished in my room. I studied Art in drawing classes during my childhood, in Art classes at Leyada high school in Jerusalem, and at London’s Central Saint Martins short course of Orientation to Art in 2019.

‏I have exhibited my latest paintings in two exhibitions in Tel Aviv.

‏In addition to Art, I am highly interested in technology. During high school, I also studied programming and I work as a programmer these days. Art and Technology are combined perfectly in my life, as I believe they both share my love for creating and taking an abstract idea into actuality until the last detail.

‏Art is my way of expressing myself and my thoughts about the world, my life, and the lives of my surroundings. As a person, I am mainly motivated by emotions, and everything I do has to come from the heart. That is why my work is about capturing emotions and putting them on the canvas as purely as possible. I am fascinated with the way emotions influence our body. In my paintings examine the way feelings are expressed only by body language and colours.
