Biography

Driven by a constant quest to discover and go deeper within, I paint. I have been painting and creating for self discovery, healing, understanding, expansion and communication, for more than 20 years. There is honesty and freedom in art and in expressing oneself through art that is second to none. It's a direct medium for this to be communicated to the viewer and take him along on the journey. Expression that initially starts with a title, topic, theme and the choice of color, then with movement, gestures that often morphs into more complex structures. Movement whether physical, emotional or mental challenges and is vital. Abstraction entails risk, risk that willingly I embrace in order to be transcended deeper and further. I use acrylic, water colors, ink, pastels, resin and any other medium that fits my adventure with each painting. Titles are an important element of my paintings taking the viewer deeper in the pursuit. Continuously changing like life so is my art, on many and varying levels, reflecting at the moment the journey I'm embarked upon. 
Born in London, I studied and lived in Greece, US and the Uk. Currently living in Greece.
